New Chances

Dedicated to excellence in the art forms of dance and drama, Ballet Gloria seeks to educate and entertain students and audiences alike in the performing arts.

We also seek to dedicate the arts to God, and by so doing, enrich, encourage, and witness to both Christian and secular audiences.

Message from the Director

Dear Friends,

Ballet Gloria is excited to bring New Chances to you once again. Our first act consists of dances that hint to the Appalachian heritage, and a new worship piece. We are excited to have company member Courtney Rice collaborate with Kate Holly to bring her vision alive through dance with an original work.

Act II is entitled “New Chances” and is a journey through the musical life of Johnny Cash. From his first hit, Folsom Prison Blues, to his final song on hit final recording, We’ll Meet Again, we are takin on a journey through the musical life of Johnny Cash. His passion for those who were broken is seen in his music, as well as his love of the Lord. We hope you enjoy the performance and find a message that speaks to your heart.
